OK, I admit it. My name is Rik and I’m a petrolhead.

Scoring a film for the new flagship Jaguar really wasn’t that much of a chore.

Working closely with Simon Cox, the editor on this one, I had the opportunity to discuss how long certain scenes should be in relation to the music track I was writing – a rare opportunity indeed.

The sound design within the music track came from the car itself… pitched down a tad to match the key of the music. Jaguar used this film to launch the new car at the Geneva and New York international motor shows, as well as it being the main feature on Jaguar’s global website.
